Arkansas health insurers must decide on complete network applications from non-physician providers within 90 calendar days, down from 180 days. This deadline covers both joining an insurer’s network and renewing participation. Physicians licensed under the Arkansas Medical Practices Act keep a 60-calendar-day deadline for these decisions. Both deadlines start when a completed application is submitted. The Insurance Commissioner’s rules define when an application is complete.
