Arkansas changes child abduction team oversight

Arkansas State Police leads the assembly of child abduction response teams and agency partnerships for response and prevention. The nine listed agencies must coordinate available resources to help missing or endangered children. Agencies no longer must sign a team agreement, but must follow an existing signed agreement. The Criminal Justice Institute no longer coordinates each team's certification or renewed certification. The law names no replacement coordinator and does not change other certification rules.
