Arkansas property owners can ban emotional support animals from their property. Bans cannot violate the Fair Housing Act as it stood on January 1, 2025, or other existing federal law. Business owners can give customers or visitors verbal notice or post a clear sign banning these animals at the entrance. Property and business owners are not liable for injuries these animals cause to customers or visitors. This protection does not apply when the owner was grossly negligent.
