Arkansas’s Division of Children and Family Services cannot require more than 15 training hours for initial foster-home approval. It cannot require more than 6 training hours each year to keep approval, and may lower these requirements by rule. Provisional foster homes cannot be required to complete the same training hours as standard foster homes. The division must adopt rules to streamline training for provisional foster homes.
