Referees and judges for professional combative sports events can complete required training anywhere in the United States. Training and certification must come from the Association of Boxing Commissions or another sanctioned organization the Arkansas commission approves for their sport. Officials must submit proof of training and certification with their license application.
The law adds professional wrestling to combative sports and removes its prior exclusion from Arkansas State Athletic Commission authority. Professional wrestling events with 1,500 or more attendees are expressly governed by the commission.
