For July 1, 2025, through June 30, 2026, the law authorizes about $21.57 million for Batesville's community college. This includes about $5.44 million from its state fund and $16.126 million in cash funds defined by state law. The money covers staff pay, employer benefit costs, operations, travel, professional fees, and other listed expenses. Cash funds include $4.5 million for capital purchases, $1 million for building improvements, and $900,000 for debt payments. Spending cannot exceed authorized amounts or available funds and must follow state fiscal laws and finance department rules; households receive no direct payment.
From July 1, 2025, through June 30, 2026, the University of Arkansas Community College at Batesville can have 243 regular employees. Its fixed job list includes up to 100 part-time faculty positions, separate from 100 temporary or part-time extra-help workers. Annual salary caps include $208,138 for the chancellor, $139,340 for twelve-month faculty, and $111,362 for nine-month faculty. Part-time faculty pay is capped at $56,046; other listed jobs also have salary caps. Extra-help pay cannot exceed state-law limits, and these staffing authorizations do not guarantee anyone a job.
