For July 1, 2025, through June 30, 2026, the law funds Arkansas State University–Beebe through two sources. The state fund provides about $15.17 million; cash funds provide about $38.16 million. State funding includes about $11.53 million for salaries, $150,000 for extra help, and about $2.10 million for matching employee costs. It also includes $500,000 for operations, $170,000 for funded depreciation, and $722,372 for contingency needs. Cash funding includes $3.75 million for salaries, $783,145 for extra help, $25,000 for overtime, and $2.6 million for matching employee costs. It provides $9.775 million for operations, $300,000 for conferences and travel, and $850,000 for professional fees. It also sets aside $2.5 million for equipment and other capital purchases and $10.95 million for capital improvements. Cash funds include $5 million for debt payments, $1.5 million for transfers, refunds and investments, and $125,000 for promotional items. Spending must follow state purchasing, budget and fiscal-control laws, along with the act's purposes and referenced budget guidance. This funding supports the university, not direct payments to households.
From July 1, 2025, through June 30, 2026, Arkansas State University–Beebe can employ up to 502 regular workers. Each listed job has a salary cap; examples include $208,138 for the chancellor and $160,132 for a twelve-month professor/master instructor. The university can also hire up to 225 temporary or part-time extra-help workers when needed. Extra-help pay must come from funds set aside for that purpose and stay within this act's or state classification-law limits. These rules authorize staffing but limit worker numbers and pay; they do not guarantee jobs or the maximum salaries.
