For July 1, 2025–June 30, 2026, the law authorizes about $1.313 billion for University of Arkansas–Fayetteville spending. State funding totals about $157.5 million: $113.5 million for salaries, $26.8 million for benefits and employer taxes, $9.742713 million for operations, and $7.502136 million for backup funding. Cash-fund spending totals $1.15515 billion, including $371 million for salaries, $35 million for temporary workers, and $3.5 million for overtime. It includes $82 million for benefits and employer taxes, $218.05 million for operations, and $70 million for professional services. Travel receives $20 million, equipment and other capital purchases receive $85 million, and building improvements receive $180 million. Debt payments receive $88.6 million, and promotional items receive $2 million. Spending must follow state budget, purchasing, and salary laws and the approved purposes. These funds support the university, not direct household payments.
For July 1, 2025–June 30, 2026, the law provides $250,000 to the university's Partners for Inclusive Communities. The funding helps develop a state center and satellite centers for autism and related disabilities. These centers provide training, advice, and support to Arkansas families and professionals. Funds can cover staff, operating costs, matching funds, and grants. The law does not provide direct cash payments to families.
For July 1, 2025–June 30, 2026, the law provides $800,000 for University of Arkansas–Fayetteville School of Law expenses. The money comes from circuit-court filing fees already authorized by state law. This law uses those revenues; it does not create a new filing fee.
For July 1, 2025–June 30, 2026, University of Arkansas–Fayetteville can employ up to 5,591 regular workers. It can also hire up to 3,208 needed temporary or part-time workers, paid from funds set aside for those jobs. Regular workers face job-specific annual pay caps; temporary workers face the applicable state job-classification pay limits. Maximum salaries include $392,837 for the chancellor, $681,971 for the athletics vice chancellor, $535,685 for the business dean, and $464,261 for the engineering dean. These are ceilings, not promised salaries or automatic raises.
