The law changes Arkansas’s health-benefit advisory commissions for public school employees and state employees. Appointed members who are not active employees receive $100 per month, down from $500. That means $400 less each month, or $4,800 less over 12 months; mileage remains payable. Both commissions must meet quarterly, with at least four meetings each year, instead of monthly with at least twelve.
