Arkansas law makes knowingly firing a gun or throwing stones, sticks, clubs, or other objects at rail vehicles a Class A misdemeanor. This covers acts at, into, or against locomotives, railroad cars, and streetcars on a railroad. The law now requires knowing conduct for a conviction. The new penalty replaces a $25–$250 fine, up to three months in county jail, or both. The amended section does not state a separate fine amount or jail term.
