The Arkansas Development Finance Authority now participates in the Arkansas Public Employees' Retirement System (APERS). This expands access to APERS for the Authority's employees, but does not set specific benefit amounts. The law also adds two state officials to the system's Board of Trustees. They are the Secretary of the Department of Shared Administrative Services and the Bank Commissioner.
