For Arkansas deeds filed in person, the person transferring the property or someone signing for them must appear in person. Exempt filers include attorneys, real estate brokers and agents, bank and lender representatives, and title insurance agents, agencies, and affiliates. The Commissioner of State Lands, state and local government representatives, and state and local government bodies are also exempt.
