Arkansas schools get set transportation funding

Effective immediately, the law sets transportation funding amounts for listed Arkansas school districts, charter schools, and special education entities. The schedule covers 2025–2026 and directs the same payments beginning in 2026–2027 and every school year afterward. The state education division distributes this money on top of each district’s basic school funding. Hermitage receives $195,153.76, KIPP Delta receives $80,232.67, and some listed schools receive $0. The money supports school transportation, not direct payments to families.
