Earlier supervision release for offenses before adulthood

Arkansas law allows earlier release from parole or post-release supervision for people who committed their offense before age 18. Their supervision term must exceed five years, with at least five years served without a violation. Release must be under Arkansas Code § 16-93-621 or another provision of the same chapter. The Post-Prison Transfer Board decides whether to grant discharge and must notify the prosecutor where the person was convicted. Prosecutor consent is required: no objection within 60 days after notice means discharge; a timely objection blocks it. Discharge restores voting rights unless Arkansas Constitution Amendment 51 provides otherwise.
