Arkansas public schools that operate mainly online must follow new adult oversight rules for statewide tests given online. For kindergarten through grade 8, a school-approved adult must stay physically with the student throughout the test. For grades 9–12, the approved adult must confirm beforehand that both will follow all current test security rules. Schools set adult approval terms. The adult can be a parent, legal guardian, or someone acting as the student's parent.
