Arkansas workplaces must post veterans' benefits information

Arkansas employers with 50 or more full-time equivalent employees must display a veterans' benefits poster where employees can easily see and access it. The Arkansas Department of Labor and Licensing must create and distribute it, consulting with the Arkansas Department of Veterans Affairs. The poster must include state veterans' program contacts and websites, substance abuse and mental health treatment options, and education, workforce, and training resources. It must also explain tax benefits, veteran designations on driver's licenses or identification cards, and unemployment insurance eligibility under state and federal law. Legal services and contact information for the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs Veterans Crisis Line must also be included. The law provides information, not new benefit eligibility or direct payments.
