Arkansas law expands what counts as robbery beyond using or threatening immediate physical force against another person. It now includes creating a situation that makes a reasonable person believe physical force against another person is about to happen. The person must act to commit felony or misdemeanor theft, or resist being caught immediately after either type of theft.
