The law gives Arkansas's Auditor of State $32.942383 million for deputy prosecutors from July 1, 2025, through June 30, 2026. The State Central Services Fund provides $24.408568 million for salaries and $8.488415 million for payroll-related costs. It also provides $4,800 for special deputy expenses and $40,600 for license costs. The law allows up to 289 regular employees but does not require every job to be filled. Job limits are 9 senior deputies II, 23 senior deputies I, 30 attorney supervisors, 39 attorney specialists, and 104 attorneys. Part-time attorney limits are 16 at level III, 14 at level II, and 54 at level I. Spending cannot exceed the approved amounts or legally available funds. It must follow state purchasing, budget, salary, and financial-control rules and the purposes documented in state budget and legislative records. This funding supports prosecution work, not direct household payments.
