Salaried workers get adjuster license without exam

Arizona residents who held an active designated home state adjuster license in another state before January 1, 2026, can apply without taking the Arizona exam. They must be in good standing and have passed that state's approved exam to qualify for the license. They must apply by June 30, 2027, using the director's form, and pay the required fee and provide fingerprints. The license only covers claims work as a salaried employee of an insurer or managing general agent. Renewal requires keeping that job; other adjuster work requires a separate license.
