Fewer New Beer-and-Wine Bar Licenses

Arizona issues one new beer-and-wine bar license for every 10,000 people above a county’s July 1, 2010 population, down from one per 5,000. The state uses county population estimates from July 1 each year to set the annual number.

New Tasting Reports for Licensed Stores

Beer-and-wine stores and liquor stores with sampling privileges must report scheduled tastings to the state every two weeks. They must keep accurate records, but may use any reasonable method to keep records and submit reports. The state cannot require one specific records system.
