Statewide rules for fixing ballot mistakes

The law requires the Secretary of State to set one statewide way to fix ballot mistakes. The Secretary works with county election officials to create these standards. The Secretary can issue regulations so all counties use the same steps. The standards cover how a voter can correct a mistake and how officials handle the fix.
