Human chorionic gonadotropin off Schedule III

The law removes human chorionic gonadotropin (hCG) from California’s Schedule III list. Doctors, pharmacies, and patients no longer follow Schedule III rules for hCG. Other forms of chorionic gonadotropin (not hCG) stay in Schedule III. All other Schedule III listings and limits remain, such as codeine up to 1.8 g per 100 ml or 90 mg per dose, and ketamine.
