Tehama and Madera can end road commissioner

Tehama and Madera County boards can abolish the county road commissioner. They must first move all road duties to the county Public Works Director. The Director does not need a special professional license. A registered civil engineer must perform all civil engineering tasks under the Director’s authority. This changes county roles, not household taxes or benefits.
