3 provisions identified: 1 benefits, 0 costs, 2 mixed.
Your trial court can add extra local pay for interpreters. The trial court and the recognized employee group must meet and agree to it. Any local pay deal is separate and cannot change the region-wide agreement.
Regional committees bargain with the union and set job terms for court interpreters. Once set, those terms bind all trial courts in the region. Hourly pay must be the same across the region. Most other job rules are also uniform unless a union agreement says otherwise. Health, welfare, and pension benefits can match what other employees get at your trial court.
If more than one region is bargaining in the same year, the union can ask to bargain across regions. Both the union and the regional committee must agree. This changes how talks are run, not your pay by itself.
