Community college staff may use artificial intelligence tools to help run the college and serve students. The law does not ban AI use for these tasks.

Community college instructors and staff must qualify

Community college instructors of record must meet state minimum faculty qualifications. The same rule applies to instructors, librarians, counselors, student services staff, supervisors, administrators, apprenticeship instructors, and supervisors of health. Colleges may hire people who meet alternative state-approved minimum qualifications where allowed by the rules cited.
