Bias training protections for workers and employers

The law protects what workers say during employer bias trainings. If you, in good faith, assess, test, admit, or acknowledge your own bias in a training your employer asks or requires, that alone is not unlawful discrimination. The law defines bias mitigation training to include teaching about conscious and unconscious bias and using strategies like tests, analysis, workshops, toolkits, and tracking. It also affirms that holding these trainings, by itself, is not unlawful discrimination.
