California State University must protect undocumented students when immigration enforcement disrupts school, and the University of California is requested to do the same. If enforcement keeps you from meeting academic requirements, CSU cannot remove your exemption from paying nonresident tuition, as long as you meet the first two eligibility requirements in Section 68130.5. Campus staff and the Dreamer Resource Liaison must help you get all financial aid and academic supports you qualify for. CSU must have a systemwide policy on grades, administrative withdrawals, and reenrollment for students who miss classes by the final drop date because of enforcement. If you were withdrawn for nonattendance due to enforcement, you are reenrolled and keep your prior academic status when you send written confirmation that you will return within the set window.
