The law limits dispute rules in consumer contracts. They can only cover using, paying for, or providing that contract’s goods, services, money, or credit. Any term that makes you give up these protections is void. Courts read this section to favor consumers. These rights add to, not replace, other consumer laws. The law defines consumer, person, and consumer use agreement.
