State can sell seven armories

The law lets the Director of General Services, with the Adjutant General’s approval, sell, transfer, or exchange seven state armories. The sites are in Atascadero, Eureka, Gilroy, Lodi, Montebello, Porterville, and San Bruno. The statute lists each site’s address and acreage. Any sale or lease still needs legislative approval under existing law. Sale or lease money goes to the Armory Fund and can be spent on armories only when the Legislature appropriates it. The law does not set sale prices or dates.
