Colorado funds Department of Revenue operations
Beginning July 1, 2025, the state provides $557 million ($557,041,568) to run the Department of Revenue. The money includes $154.6 million from the General Fund, $392.1 million from cash funds, $9.4 million in reappropriated funds, and $0.85 million in federal funds. It supports tax systems and help lines, DMV services and IDs, licensing, lotteries, and enforcement. This is not a direct payment to households, and the law does not create new taxes.
