State ends Business Intelligence advisory board

The law ends the state's Business Intelligence Center advisory board and its advisory panel. Both bodies repeal on September 1, 2026, after a review by the Department of Regulatory Agencies. The act follows the state’s standard timing rules. It takes effect at 12:01 a.m. the day after the 90-day period following final adjournment (for example, August 12, 2026 if adjournment is May 13, 2026). If a referendum petition is filed in that window, the changes do not start unless voters approve them in November 2026. If approved, they start on the Governor’s official declaration of the vote.
