More Colorado prisons qualify for broadband money

The law immediately adds Trinidad, Arkansas Valley, and Arrowhead correctional facilities to those eligible for broadband installation funding. San Carlos Correctional Facility remains eligible for money from Colorado's Broadband Infrastructure Cash Fund. The law extends this funding authority's end date from July 1, 2027, to July 1, 2028. The Colorado General Assembly must still approve spending each year. The law sets no funding amount and does not guarantee installations or provide household payments.
