New service funding rules for Auraria

Starting in state fiscal year 2025-26, state money for Auraria Higher Education Center operations must follow baseline service agreements with its schools. The center and schools must sign each year's agreements by September 1; existing agreements apply until then. The center must manage all resources tied to these agreements and goals, and give schools quarterly updates on both. It must set fees for services outside the baseline agreements. Schools can contract for extra services under these fee schedules. The center must explain why those extra services fall outside the baseline agreements. These rules end July 1, 2027. The law specifies no funding amount or direct household benefit.
