Health grant evaluations paid from prevention fund

The law requires the state health department’s division to use its yearly Prevention, Early Detection, and Treatment Fund appropriation to pay for program evaluations. The state board selects a grant recipient to run the evaluation, and their evaluation costs are paid from that same appropriation. The law does not set dollar amounts and does not change who can get services.
