Colorado agency rules stay in effect

The law extends covered rules across Colorado’s 20 principal departments beyond their scheduled May 15, 2026, expiration. It also covers Public Employees’ Retirement Association rules and Board of Equalization rules. Covered rules were adopted or amended on or after November 1, 2024, and before November 1, 2025. The law applies the Committee on Legal Services’ recommendations to the rule versions the committee reviewed. It leaves earlier changes untouched if they took effect before November 1, 2025, and follow those recommendations. Changes effective on or after November 1, 2025, are also untouched. The text gives no new expiration date or specific changes to household costs, benefits, or services.
