Public bodies in D.C. must let the public watch or listen to meetings while they happen. If live access is not technologically possible, they must share audio or video as soon as reasonably possible after the meeting. When a notice says the public may attend, this is met by letting people watch or listen live, or soon after if live is not feasible. The law is temporary and ends 225 days after it takes effect. It takes effect after mayoral approval and a 30-day congressional review.
