Condo owners can meet and vote online

Condo owner associations, boards, and committees may meet by phone or video. The system must let all attendees hear, be heard, and understand. Remote attendees count as present for quorum. Meeting notices must include a link or joining instructions. Boards may send ballots with the notice and set a return deadline. You may vote electronically up to 7 days before the meeting. Those votes count as in-person at the meeting. This emergency law lasts no longer than 90 days after it takes effect.

Remote meetings for D.C. cooperatives

D.C. cooperatives may hold member meetings remotely, even if bylaws do not allow it. Member rules in Title 29 apply without the "organic rules" exception. These changes standardize and broaden remote participation rights. This emergency law lasts no longer than 90 days after it takes effect.
