2 provisions identified: 1 benefits, 0 costs, 1 mixed.

Streatery permits extended, new 2025 fee dates

The law extends Streatery Program endorsements through December 31, 2025. Most 2025 fees are due April 1, 2025. On‑premises retailer classes C/T, D/T, C/N, D/N, and manufacturer class B may pay by September 30, 2025. The law also repeals the 2024 temporary streatery extension act.

Easier locations for medical cannabis shops

Retailers and internet retailers cannot locate in residential districts or within 400 feet of a preschool, K–12 school, or recreation center. If you applied before December 17, 2024, you may use a 300‑foot buffer instead. If you applied during the 90‑day open application period, you may be within 300 feet when the facility’s main entrance sits on commercial or industrial‑zoned land (per the Zoning Commission atlases).
