Easier tree removal, fee for Parkside lots

This law creates a narrow exception for Heritage Trees on Parkside lots 865, 866, 867, 868, and 869 in Square 5056. It applies only if the Zoning Commission approved a planned unit development for the lot before July 1, 2016. For those trees, the usual Heritage Tree removal restrictions do not apply. But the owner or developer must pay a fee for each tree removed, at the same rate the city charges for removing special trees under existing law. This emergency rule is in effect for up to 90 days.
