More remote monitoring coverage for pregnancy

The District's law expands telehealth coverage and reimbursement to digital tools that remotely monitor both blood pressure and blood glucose. This coverage includes pregnancy and up to 12 months after pregnancy. Coverage applies once the law's fiscal effect is included in an approved District budget and financial plan. The Chief Financial Officer must certify that date; publication of the certification notice does not change when coverage applies. The law does not set reimbursement amounts or state how much patients save.
