New location limits for cannabis shops

Medical cannabis retailers and internet retailers cannot locate in any residential district. They must be at least 400 feet from a preschool, primary or secondary school, or a recreation center. If you applied before December 17, 2024, your buffer is 300 feet instead. If you applied during the 90-day open period, you may be within 300 feet when the school or center’s main entrance sits on commercially or industrially zoned land.

Streatery program extended and 2025 deadlines

The streatery program stays in effect through December 31, 2025. Most 2025 license or endorsement fees are due by April 1, 2025. If your license is class C/T, D/T, C/N, D/N, or manufacturer class B, you have until September 30, 2025. The law does not change fee amounts, only due dates.
