Food and Friends property tax relief

The law exempts most property tax on 219 Riggs Road NE (Lot 0005, Square 3766) for Food & Friends, Inc. The exemption applies while Food & Friends owns the site and it is used by them or any lessee for charitable food distribution or related services. It covers the property and its buildings. 97% of the land is tax‑exempt; 3% of the land stays taxable. The relief runs from October 1, 2025 through December 30, 2025 and is on top of any other tax help they qualify for.
