DC temporarily lifts energy bond cap

The law temporarily removes the $250 million cap on bonds for the District’s energy efficiency financing program. The District can issue bonds without that aggregate cap while this law is in effect. The law takes effect after the Mayor approves (or the Council overrides) and after 30 days of congressional review. The law expires 225 days after it takes effect. After that, the temporary changes stop.
