Fans barred from arena playing surfaces

You cannot enter the playing surface at Downtown Arena (601 F St. N.W.) or Southeast Arena (1100 Oak Dr. S.E.) without permission. Only the Downtown Arena operator or its authorized agents can give permission there. At the Southeast Arena, only the Washington Convention and Sports Authority, the lessee or operator, or their agents can authorize entry. The law adds these arenas to the city’s rule and updates the "playing surface" definition for enforcement. This emergency law lasts no more than 90 days from its effective date.
