D.C. delivery devices face new weight rules

The law sets a 250-pound weight limit for personal delivery devices in the District of Columbia. Property carried by the device does not count toward that limit. The Department can set a higher limit through rulemaking. This emergency law lasts no longer than 90 days after mayoral approval or a Council veto override.
