Affordable rental homes reserved at Reservoir District

The law reserves one-third of the Reservoir District Property’s operating rental homes as affordable housing. These homes must be available to households meeting HUD’s annually reported 80 Percent Income Limit Category for Washington-Arlington-Alexandria, DC-VA-MD. HUD’s fair market rents apply to the Property, alongside federal tax-law affordability and income-limit rules. The law takes effect after mayoral approval or a veto override and a 30-day congressional review; no calendar start date is provided. It expires 225 days after taking effect.
