The District approves three changes to a treatment contract with La Clínica del Pueblo. The law raises the one-year cap from $700,000 to $1.6 million for July 6, 2024 to July 5, 2025. The District authorizes payment for services already received and to be received in that period. Payments can now exceed $1,000,000 during that 12-month year. This supports local outpatient care for substance use disorder.
