Higher spending for District medical services

The resolution takes effect immediately and approves three changes to the District’s Bound Tree Medical contract for emergency medical services. Modification M0004 authorized up to $995,000 for October 1 through December 26, 2024. Modification M0005 extended the contract through September 30, 2025, at no added cost. Modification M0006 raises the full-year spending cap by $605,000, from $995,000 to $1.6 million. That cap covers October 1, 2024, through September 30, 2025. Approval allows payment for past and future contract goods and services, including amounts above the $1 million Council-approval threshold. It does not create a direct household benefit or payment.
