District approves higher Verizon contract spending

Effective immediately, the resolution approves changes M10 and M11 to District government Verizon contract CW94742 and authorizes payments. Payments cover goods and services already received or still to be received, keeping government telecommunications running. M10, issued April 28, 2025, partly exercised the third option year: $983,547.48 for April 29 through August 29, 2025. M11 covers the rest of that option year, August 30, 2025, through April 28, 2026. It adds $1.96709496 million, raising the option-year contract amount from $983,547.48 to $2.95064244 million. Council approval is required because the contract increases exceed $1 million within 12 months; approval allows payment above that threshold.
