Extra year and reactivation for medical cannabis licenses

The law lets the Alcoholic Beverage and Cannabis Administration (ABCA) add up to one more year to conditional medical cannabis licenses. Total time on a conditional license cannot be more than three years. It covers cultivation, manufacturing, retailers (including internet), couriers, and testing labs. The change applies starting June 28, 2025. If your conditional license began expiring on or after June 28, 2025, ABCA restores it and gives the extra time.
